About did
Driving Instructors Diary was in the making for 2.5 years created by me Jason Hamilton-Ramm a driving instructor just like you. I was fed up with trying all the different driving school systems out there not finding the right software that did all the things that i needed and wanted for my driving school. So i decided to create my own, then Driving Instructors Diary was born. I used the software within my driving school for over a year without any problems and decided to allow other driving instructors and schools to use my online software at a very reasonable price, compared to others out there priced for example at £99 + vat and that’s just for one driving school instructor.

The system is a full backend office allowing you to take new pupil bookings, easily book a new pupil with a instructor that meets the new pupils requirements.
Set the areas that you or your instructors cover, set your prices and availability and away you go. Keep track of all bookings.
Display all bookings in your client dashboard, you as a client will be notified when a instructor receives a new pupil by email, text or both from your own company name.

Driving Instructors Diary (DID) is here to help driving instructors / driving schools throughout the UK. Managing your pupil bookings on the move, taking bookings for you or your driving instructors using an iPhone, iPad or laptop, every booking the system carry’s out on your companies behalf is accurately recorded for you to inspect on any internet device at the end of your working day.
Driving instructors Diary (DID) is tailored for you the driving instructor, making it easy for you to keep track of your pupil appointments, book pupil lessons weeks in advance, track pupil payments and records pupil progress with the built in pupil record.
By tracking lessons, products and payments and monitoring your pupils’ progress, by ensuring that pupils can access their online portal and leave a message for the driving school or driving instructor, by enabling pupils to view their records on their online portal, by allowing potential new pupils to check prices and availability then book lessons via your own website, by giving you instant access to your messages via an iPhone whilst out on the road, so much more.
We collect payment via direct debit through our partner Go Cardless. This is what will show on your bank statement.
This solely depends on how you choose to update your diary. If you continue to use a paper diary and are only able to update your online diary at the end of your working day, double-bookings or “clashes” can occur. However, the system recognises this and it will not allow double bookings. DID and pupil’s that may be booking directly via your website will be using “live” data and only slots that are actually available will show up.
No we do not need any payment information or payment upfront, we would ask you to complete a direct debit mandate after your free trial and you have chosen the package or packages you need.
